Lebron 17 Trial Experience // Digital Takeaway

At the launch of the Nike Air Max Lebron 17 at House of Innovation NYC, Splice Boys teamed up with Nike to create the 180-degree bullet cam trial experience for consumers of all skill levels. Inspired by the countless photos and videos of Lebron’s iconic dunks over the course of his career, the trial experience gave visitors the opportunity to feel like an NBA superstar and trial the Lebron 17’s like the King himself.

The result was a shareable motion asset captured in stop-motion by an array of over 50 precisely tuned cameras.

A LONG-TERM INSTALLATION, LASTING ALMOST 3 MONTHS!
Splice Boys trained Nike staff to operate the system. Our technology was intuitive and autonomous enough to allow Nike’s team to focus on the customer experience while capturing amazing action shots with the 50 Camera array. The footage was automatically processed and broadcast to large display screens, throughout the House of Innovation, Manhattan.

We had 360° array with 50 cameras running 12 hours a day for 30 days straight.
After just a couple days induction, we were able to leave the system to be run by the awesome in-store staff.

This was an awesome activation, we did thousands of videos over the month and created huge buzz in the Shanghai store.

This type of high-end long-term install can be adapted to many locations and uses. With a robust system and workflow, training and support for the duration of an event we're the team to execute massive Bullet Time events!

It was such a huge sucess for Nike china, we were subsquently sent to NYC to do a simliar activation.

The ASUS 360 Photo booth activation was a fantastic success for ASUS, it significantly raised our profile and increased our reach with our target audience particularly on key social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube. Our engaged users alone skyrocketed by over three hundred percent during the month of December, and to date we have over 30,000 views on our event specific YouTube channel. We encountered over 1560 individual participants over 9 days through activation sites in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney

SYFY FanCam 360//

A major feature at Supanova convention was the Syfy FanCam 360.
Celebrating the Defiance Season 2 premiere (June 20), Syfy FanCam 360 steals a moment in time to take a complete 360 degree photo of you and/or a group of friends which then gets stitched up to make a short video clip. Not getting the image just yet? Try to imagine creating a scene from something like the Matrix. And because of this, Syfy FanCam 360 was a fun, interactive booth that garnered a lot of interest from Supanova fans. Berocca Twist ‘n’ Go Cam //

MediaCom teamed up with captiv8 and The Splice Boys to create and produce the Twist 'N' Go campaign at The Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast. The Twist 'N' Go campaign involves a purpose built multi camera array of 48 DSLRs within the Berocca Bubble, a uniquely shaped Berocca bubble in the shape of the Twist 'N' Go bottle top. The Twist 'N' Go cam offers event goers the opportunity to appear in their own matrix-style video set against the backdrop of the 'perfect wave'. From the camera control centre, their video is instantly uploaded to the Berocca Australia YouTube channel and pulled into a custom built Facebook app hosted on Berocca's Australian Facebook page, all within 10 minutes of the video being filmed. The event goer is notified through a SMS and email enabling them to share their wave and tag friends in the video.
